The most romantic day of the year is just around the corner and here are a few Valentine’s Day looks you’re going to LOVE! Whether you’re headed out to a fancy dinner with your spouse, are going to spend the night in with your galentines, or just want to show yourself a little love, these simple and swoon-worthy styles are perfect for February 14 and beyond.
Va-Va Voom Glam
Get dolled up with voluminous curls, natural eyes, soft blush, and a bright pink lip. We applied AVEDA Thickening Tonic to wet hair and used a round brush to blow dry. We then set the hair with AVEDA Brilliant Spray and a curling iron. We pinned each curl and let them cool before brushing through. That gives the volume! A look this pretty deserves to be shown off, so we hope you’ve got some BIG plans!
Smoldering Surprise
This look is all about contrast. Nude lips and contouring make a dark eye palette even more prominent, while a sleek crown looks striking atop a body of spiral curls. We started by doing a severe part. Then, we used flat ironing half way from the roots. We pulled the hair into a low ponytail and used a small curling iron to add spiral curls. Finally, we teased just the root to create fullness. Never underestimate the ease and sophistication of a half up/half down look!
A Red Hot Mani
Let your fingertips celebrate the holiday with a V-Day inspired manicure. Red, pink, or even purple, pick your favorite shade of love and get painting. For a little extra flair, incorporate some nail art in the shape of a heart, lips, or sparkly bling.
Pink Hair, Don’t Care
Channel your inner cupid and add some semi-permanent pink color to your hair. Whether you opt for a few pieces or all-over color, this girly shade looks best on fair skin tones for a look that wows! Remember…you must be blonde to start. Nothing is softer and more romantic than the color pink.

Up, Up, & Away
Dress up an everyday ponytail with some height and texture. We used the Sam Villa Micro Crimper at the roots to add volume without teasing. We then set the hair with a curling iron. To style, we pulled the back half into the ponytail first. Then, we combed the top and sides back with our fingers and pinned into a ponytail elastic for a not-so-perfect vibe. Finally, we let a few tendrils fall loose around the face naturally, for a soft sexy feel.
Vintage Vibes
For a renaissance looks that screams romance, add curls to the bottom and volume to the top. We divided the hair into three sections: back and two sides. The roots of each side were teased, gently brushed, and twisted backwards and criss crossed with two bob pins to secure. Easy! The makeup for this used soft peaches and naturals to compliment her auburn hair color! You can even place pretty hair combs on the sides to make the occasion even more special.
